Winning start for Junior rugby players in Singapore

Sri Lanka junior rugby players started their Asian Under 19 rugby championship in grand style when they overcame the hosts Singapore 27/12 in the opener.

For Sri Lanka tries were scored by Reza Rafaideen, Buddhima Piyaratne, Kevin Dixon and Mithila Perera. Reza put over a penalty plus 2 try conversions.

Sri Lanka will lock horns with Hong Kong on December 16.
