WNS Global secure 2nd victory at Men’s E Division League Basketball

WNS Global scored their 02nd win in the ongoing 26th MSBA Men’s “E” division League Basketball Tournament 2016, continued at the Edward Henry Pedris and Otter AC Courts on Monday.

WNS Global beat Ceylon Tobacco Co., 55/21 after leading, 22/7 at half time.

WNS Global in their earlier game beat IFS R&D International by a convincing margin of 55/44

The match winners for WNSG were H. Wishwage (22) and N. Samarakoon (15); C. Malwatte (11) and N. Fernando (10) scored for CTC.

Aitken Spence Group beat Sarva Integrated, 32/25 after leading 25/18 at half time; S. Shaaib (08) and S. Malik (08) were the top scorers for Aitken Spence; S. Silva (13) played a hard game for Sarva Integrated. 

Airport & Aviation Services beat UB Finance, 45/36 after leading 18/12 at half time; S. Silva (25) and D. Nilan (15) were top scorers for A&A; J.G. Fernando (21) and J. Seneviratne (12) played a fighting game for UBF. IFS & RD International chalked up their first win, beating Citizens Devp. Business, 51/40; The scores were tied at 23-all at half time; The match winner for IFS was N. Withanachchi (22) while P. Bathiya (10) and A. Shaminda (08) gave good support ; D. Wijesinghe (10) and L. Randika (18) played a hard game for CDB. 

The tournament will be continued during the course of this week up to Friday, 26 August.
