After a very successful first season last year, the organisers of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (Asia Pacific Rally Championship, APRC), FIA, announced Würth, the world market leader in assembly and fastening material, as the official outfitter of the 2014 Championship. “The first year of our collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship was a great success. We have no hesitation to extend the contract. Our channel partners can work closely with some of the world’s top motorsport teams and engineers in each of the races. They share their technical knowledge and learn so much at the same time,” says Deputy Spokesman for the group management Peter Zürn, who is responsible for all the companies of the Würth Line world. The leading teams and organisers of the APRC consider it a big win that the partnership with Würth continues. “This is really a success for everyone involved,” says the President of the APRC, Steven Kennedy who added “Our students have free access to the best range of products and technical know-how in the industry, and the organisers can use the generous contribution of Würth International.” Würth is based in Künzelsau, Germany and is the world market leader in the assembly and fastening material trade. In each of the races of the APRC, a wide range of Würth products and technical advice is available. “Unfortunately, there is no APRC rally in Sri Lanka, but Wurth Lanka is proud to be a contributor to the partnership, and are committed to bring in the latest news from the APRC track to the rally fans in Sri Lanka,” said Head of PR and Marketing for Würth Lanka Dinasha Weerasinghe.
