Wurth presented a sponsorship cheque to the Diyatalawa Military Academy as a special sponsor to the Fox Hill Super Cross 2014 at the initial media briefing.
“Wurth, a leader in the automotive aftermarket business, made this contribution to FOX HILL for the second time, as a commitment to support the SL Army and motorsporta in Sri Lanka,” said Wurth Lanka Managing Director Rohan Amirthiah.
Würth Lanka, a part of the global giant Wurth Group Worldwide, has been operating for the last 16 years in Sri Lanka as a direct branch office. Wurth Group also currently partners the Asia Pacific Rally Championship.
“The local office, supports many racing talents, the likes of drivers such as Ashan Silva in 2013, who eventually became the ‘Super Fox 2013’ as in the previous years, this year also Würth will be at the Diyatalawa Fox Hill track to back the organising team with full enthusiastic spirit,” stated Wurth Lanka Area Sales Manager Prasanna Mayadunne, who will be spearheading the team at Fox Hill.
