YMCA Moratuwa conducts Mr. Y Moratuwa contest

The annual Mr. Y contest, organised by the YMCA Moratuwa, was conducted for the fifth time at its auditorium recently. 

Valuable cash gifts, mementos and certificates were given away to the winners under different categories.  The event was judged by veteran instructor Deepal Perera of Joy Fitness. The overall winner Dushmantha Udayanga was awarded the Siridasa Liyanage Memorial Challenge Trophy by YMCA Moratuwa President Nihal Ferdinando. Chief Instructor Kingsley Dabarey of YMCA Moratuwa was awarded a special appreciation certificate in recognition of his untiring efforts at preparing the contestants for the competition. Ferdinando together with YMCA Moratuwa’s Sports Committee Chairman J.S.A. Fernando, other Directors and members of the general public were present to witness this keenly contested event.
