Yonex Sunrise Sri Lanka International Badminton Challenge set to begin

The Sri Lanka Badminton Association (SLBA) will hold the Yonex Sunrise Sri Lanka International Badminton Challenge for the second consecutive year from 2 to 6 June at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. 

The finals and the awards ceremony will be held on 6 June from 3.00 p.m. onwards at the same venue.

As in previous years, Yonnex Sunrise will be the main sponsor of the event. The prize money will be $ 15,000.  

The events being contested are the men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. 

Two hundred and sixty-four entries were received from 26 countries including Sri Lanka with a considerable number of world ranked players ,
