Zahira College Old Boys to meet at fellowship dinner in September

Zahira College Old Boys’ Association will commemorate the 120th anniversary of the college with a fellowship dinner on Saturday, 7 September 2013 at the college premises. Several events have been organised already, commencing from last year, to celebrate the anniversary and this dinner will be the finale to conclude the celebrations of the 120th anniversary.
The opening of the college swimming pool complex last year was the mega event held to coincide with the college’s 120th year. The anniversary walk drew large numbers of old boys, parents, teachers and students which was unprecedented, taking into account the numbers that participated. The Zahira Rugby Sevens, cricket tournament, hockey tournament and the Super 16 Football Tournament are some of the highlights that took place during the year.
Distinguished personalities, who are old boys, will grace the dinner, from the oldest of old boys to the youngest.
The president and executive committee of the OBA invites all old boys of the college to grace this occasion to reminiscence over their school days whilst meeting and mingling with their past schoolmates in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment.
