Zahira Old Boys Association holds Ranaviru Challenge Trophy 2012

Zahira Old Boys Rugby Association (ZOBRA) organized the  “Zahira Ranaviru  Challenge Trophy  2012”  and annual rugby encounter of old boys and  Present boys and an exhibition match between Board of Governors team and ZOBRA team at the college grounds recently.

Old Zahirians won the Match and captain of the team T.J. Cuncheer received the Ranaviru Challenge Trophy from the chief guest  Former Old Zahirians Sports Club Rugby Committee Chairman and Sri Lanka Freedom Party Colombo District Organizer Fawzan Anver.

Zahira College Principal Mohamed Jiffry gave away the challenge shield to the exhibition match winner ZOBRA captain Nazeem Ghaffoor.

Distinguished old boy  Lft. Col. T. Draheem , Zahira College Sport Council Chairman Tony Amith, Project Chairman Himly Hamid , Past Rugby Players, students and  parents were present .
