International Conference on Poverty and Sustainable Development in December

The 6th International Conference on Poverty and Sustainable Development 2019 (ICPSD 2019) will be held on 5-6 December in Colombo.

The conference is organised by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) under the theme ‘SDG 1: A World free from Want: Poverty and Social Exclusion in the 21st Century’. ICPSD 2019 is a great platform for eminent researchers, scientists, industry experts and all interested scholars to discuss and share current policies, implementations, data streams about poverty and sustainable development.

The Hosting Partner of ICPSD 2019 is the Center for Sustainability, Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka. The Academic Partner for ICPSD 2019 is the Yale Global Justice program. The Strategic partners for ICPSD 2019 are the Global labor Organization (GLO) and the foundation for Innovative Social Development (FISD)

The Conference is chaired by Dr. Peter Abrahamson, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, while the keynote forum will be represented by Dr. M Niaz Asadullah, Professor at the University of Malaya, Malaysia.

The main objective of TIIKM is to create a platform through ICPSD 2019 that is of significant importance for researchers and practitioners in relation to the respective subject to present their researches and expertise with the view of constructing a future nurtured with useful knowledge leading towards the emergence of solutions to global issues.
