LAUGFS Eco Sri receives ISO/IEC 17020 certification

Sri Lanka’s pioneer in vehicle emission testing, LAUGFS Eco Sri recently received the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 certification from the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB). This particular certification is the internationally recognised measure of competence of various inspection bodies, and focuses on the impartiality, confidentiality and accuracy of the vehicle emission testing procedure.

The ISO/IEC 17020:2012 certification functions as the ISO certified conformity assessment regarding the requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection. This standard covers the activities of inspection bodies whose work can include the examination of materials, products, installations, plants, processes, work procedures or services, and the determination of their conformity with requirements and the subsequent reporting of results of these activities to clients and, when required, to authorities.
