Connaissance De Ceylan appoints new directors

Connaissance De Ceylan Ltd., a pioneer in the inbound tourism industry of Sri Lanka announced the appointment of new directors to its board. Anushka Perera and Nanda Ekanayake have been entrusted with additional responsibilities within the group as Director Operations and Director Finance respectively. 

Anushka who was General Manager of Connaissance De Ceylan is an old boy of Trinity College Kandy. He joined the Connaissance De Ceylan team in the year 1999 as a Junior Travel Executive where he was till 2005. During 2005-2010 Anushka joined Arabian Adventure, UAE where he gained wide experience handling Groups and Incentives. A proficient user of the French language Anushka rejoined Connaissance De Ceylan in 2010 as its Operations Manager and was appointed General Manager in 2015. 

Nanda who was the Group Head of Finance since 2008 is an old boy of St. Alloysius College Galle and has been in the industry for the past 35 years. He prides himself in being a member of the group since its early days. Having been a part of organisation from 1992-1999 Nanda took a small break from the company to work with some reputed organisation and rejoined the group in 2008. He has been serving in the capacity of Accountant, Manager Finance over the years.
