Double glory for Ceylon City Hotel at World Luxury Hotel Awards 2017

Ceylon City Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka bagged two awards at the recently concluded World Luxury Hotel Awards held in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Ceylon City Hotel has been named as winners in two categories, Luxury City Hotel and Luxury Family Hotel in Sri Lanka. 

World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of recognition of accomplishment by a hotel in the luxury hospitality industry, offering recognition to hotels for earning the respect of guests and industry players alike, by awarding hotels, as voted for by the public, in over 60 categories.

This is the second consecutive year Ceylon City Hotel has been named as a winner by World Luxury Hotel Awards after previously winning the award in 2016. 

Ceylon City Hotel situated in Bambalapitiya, Colombo is one of the ideal choices for business and leisure travellers. Ceylon City Hotel comprises of 3 rooms categories namely Junior Suite, Deluxe and Standard rooms and all rooms consist of King Size Beds, Mini Bar, 32 LCD TV with satellite connection, air condition, spacious sofa, coffee table, TV table, dressing table and hospitality tray with tea coffee making facilities.

In addition to these facilities Ceylon City also has 24-hour room service, very spacious restaurant that also can be used for special occasions, conference hall and a very unique eye catching lobby and a coffee shop.

 Setting the basis for service industry standards around the globe, the World Luxury Hotel Awards provides true recognition to luxury hotels and resorts in their relevant categories during its annual voting phase. “Over 300,000 votes were tallied this year from travellers and guests of these luxury establishments during the voting phase. It is because of this that our winners are here this evening, because they offer something extra special to their guests that satisfies their travel desires,” says World Luxury Hotel Awards Brand Manager Michelle Snyman.

Ceylon City Hotel has been recipient of many awards in the past and recently Ceylon City Hotel was also named as ‘Best Budget 3- Star Hotel for South Asia by Hotel for the Year Awards for year 2016.
