Emirates makes Dubai more attractive with the extension of ‘My Emirates Pass’ offers

Emirates is extending its popular My Emirates Pass program to customers visiting Dubai this winter season. The program gives Emirates customers exclusive offers and discounts across the city by turning the Emirates boarding pass into an exclusive membership card.

Those flying to or through Dubai between 1 January and 31 March 2018 can take advantage of a range of offers at some of Dubai’s best known hotspots by simply showing their Emirates boarding pass* and a valid form of identification. 

My Emirates Pass has also expanded the program with more partners – customers can now enjoy special discounts at over 250 world class restaurants and hotel dining outlets in Dubai. Exclusive offers are also available on a range of leisure activities including visits to championship golf courses, thrilling theme parks or luxury spas across the city.

With temperatures hovering between 20-25 degrees in the winter months, Dubai provides a great escape for visitors. Emirates named world’s safest airline

Dubai-based Emirates has been named the world’s safest airlines in 2017, according to a specialised study which was conducted by the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre (JACDEC) for the air industry magazine Aero International.

Etihad Airways featured high as well among the world’s safest airlines, according to the list which will be published later, reported Emirates news agency Wam.

Norway’s Air Shuttle came second on the list, while Britain’s Virgin Atlantic Airways comes in the third place. Netherland’s KLM, Britain’s easyJet, Finland’s Finnair came fourth, fifth and sixth respectively, followed by Etihad Airways, US Spirit Airlines, Australia’s Jetstars and UAE’s Air Arabia in the following positions.

Germany’s Eurowings came in the 16th position, while Germany’s Lufthansa came 22nd.

The study assessed the major airlines before delivering its verdict, taking into account performance, previous incidents over the past three years and the average age of their fleets.
