The Gateway Hotel Airport Garden was re-launched as Vivanta Colombo, Airport Garden on 30 January. 

The event was inaugurated by the Directors Mahesh Hirdaramani and Mukesh Advani, along with Sri Lanka, Maldives and Malaysia Area Director, Taj Asia Ltd., (TAL) and Taj Safaris Ltd., (TSL) Head and Taj Samudra General Manager Pankaj Sampat, Area Financial Controller Sri Lanka, Maldives and Malaysia Soumitra Ray, Vivanta Colombo, Airport Garden General Manager Ranil Perera and the team.

With the brand change, the hotel has re-categorized the room types as Superior, deluxe, premium, followed by the suites. The all-day dining restaurant serving à la carte and International breakfast/lunch and dinner is renamed as MYNT. 

SWIRL will serve a wide range of wines, beverages, cakes, bakes, and savouries along with traditional Ceylon teas and coffees.

WINK is an exclusive bar serving wines, champagnes, spirits, and cocktails.
