Chairman of the renowned hotel chain in the hill country, the Golden Hospitality Ltd., Sriyananda Wijekoon was presented with the Gold Award in the Extra Large Category, Central Province at the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Ceremony organised by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries in Sri Lanka (FCCISL).
Wijekoon, who has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, is also the chairman of Sriyananda Traders. There are six luxury hotels under Golden Hospitality; namely The Golden Crown Hotel (five-star), The Serene in Kandy, The Golden Ridge (five-star), The Westbury (super luxury boutique hotel), The Clovelly (luxury boutique hotel), and The Victoria (luxury boutique hotel) in Nuwara Eliya. The company’s next venture, The Golden Heights, yet another luxury hotel will be unveiled in Kandy with a novel concept.
