Gulf Air confirms flights are operating as normal to/from Colombo, Sri Lanka

Gulf Air yesterday said it sympathises with the people of Sri Lanka amidst the bombings that occurred in a number of locations but confirmed that its flights to and from the Sri Lankan capital Colombo are operating as normal. 

Gulf Air has been advised by the Sri Lankan authorities that the airport and its surroundings are safe and the operations of the airport are still functional. Gulf Air will continue to monitor the situation closely, as the safety of its passengers and crew remain a top priority for the airline. Additionally, Gulf Air has learnt that the Sri Lankan authorities have imposed a curfew from 1800hrs – 0600hrs and advises its passengers to arrive at their airport at least 4 hours before their flight.
