Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is set to host the Hikka Kite Festival on 25 August at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon. Returning to the vibrant shores of Hikkaduwa for the second year, this action-packed event will feature an array of activities that the entire family can enjoy. From colourful kite competitions to thrilling kite fights, the festival will provide the ideal backdrop for a day of beach-side fun and relaxation.

Hundreds of kites are expected to soar from the hotel’s premises and bordering beach, as fans from across the island and region are set to visit Hikkaduwa participate in the festival. A mix of traditional kites and more contemporary creations will be showcased at the event, in a variety of shapes, formations and styles. A selection of prizes will also be presented to the winners of kite fights, kite flying and kite making competitions.
