Krishantha steps down as HDL Chairman

Krishantha Cooray has stepped down as the Chairman of the Hotel Developers Lanka PLC, the owning company of Hilton Colombo.

In his letter to the Secretary Ministry of Finance, Cooray said he was grateful for the opportunity to lead an extraordinarily talented team of managers, professionals and staff over the past three and half years at both HDL and Hilton Colombo.

Hotel Developers Lanka Plc had its best year in 2017 with a record Rs. 3.015 billion and an after tax profit of Rs. 258 million
