Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Keith D. Bernard and the Vessel Master Capt. Matthew Hudson exchange plaques
Passenger vessel Resilient Lady at the East Terminal of Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Port of Colombo
Luxury passenger vessel Resilient Lady, operated by Virgin Voyages and flying the Bahamian flag, made the maiden call at the Port of Colombo on 13 November.
The ship, measuring 909 ft. in length and accommodating 2,318 passengers and 1,194 crew members, called at the East Terminal of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), Port of Colombo.
Built in 2022, Resilient Lady’s maiden call was commemorated with a plaque exchange ceremony between SLPA Chairman Keith D. Bernard and the Master of the vessel Captain Matthew Hudson.
Departing from Goa, India, the Resilient Lady’s next port of call is Phuket, Thailand. Inchcape Mackinnon Mackenzie Shipping Ltd. serves as the local port agent for the vessel, while Aitken Spence Travels Ltd. serves the local agent for excursions during her stay in Colombo.
