MAC Hotels and Villas Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of MAC Holdings Ltd., has raised the bar in Sri Lanka’s luxury hospitality industry with its first hotel property acquisition ‘Serene Pavilions.’

The hotel opened its doors in October 2009 and is located on property with a total land of 5.5-acre land with a uniquely laid out garden and plenty of space for enjoyment. Surrounded by lush gardens, aromatic Araliya blooms, and swaying palm trees, the property features 12 exclusive pavilions (16 rooms) designed to provide unmatched luxury, privacy, tranquillity and exceptional service with a wide range of facilities like private dining, butler service, bar and restaurant, swimming pool with submerged Jacuzzi beds, reading room, tennis court and gymnasium. The three pavilion types include Single Bedroom Ocean Pavilion – 8 Units – 2,350 sq. ft, Single Bedroom Garden Pavilion – 1 Unit – 1,430 sq. ft and Two Bedroom Garden Pavilion – 3 Units – 2,100 sq. ft. Each villa has a spacious living and dining area, an opulent bathroom with a Jacuzzi, private swimming pool, with features such as a traditional Balinese style offering a sun-shaded area ideal for outdoor dining, a 24-hour butler to cater to all guests’ requirements etc.
