Mövenpick Hotel Colombo’s Chief Concierge honoured with Les Clefs d’Or International membership

The roots of the title “concierge” was derived from the Latin word conserves meaning “fellow slave”. The word itself in French, means “keeper of the keys”. 

Mövenpick Hotel Colombo marked a proud moment as the Chief Concierge Thusitha Liyanage received the globally-renowned Les Clefs d’Or (keys of Gold) membership. 

“Les Clefs d’Or is one of the most prestigious concierge associations in the world, and we are proud and delighted that Thusitha has achieved this personal accomplishment which will also greatly benefit the hotel,” said Mövenpick Hotel Colombo General Manager George Koumendakos. 

Thusitha carries with him various levels of expertise ranging from Chief Concierge to Stewarding having worked both in Sri Lanka and overseas. “I am honoured and humbled to have been accepted by Les Clefs d’Or concierge association. It gives me the opportunity to globally connect and drive new standards for guest service perfection,” stated Thusitha.
