Onyx Hospitality signs Shama in Hangzhou

Onyx Hospitality Group has signed its fourth Shama property so far this month.

Occupying a 21-storey building within Yaojiang Wending International, the large-scale commercial complex development by Yaojiang Group, Shama Zijingang Hangzhou is perfectly positioned within the Xihu (West Lake) District of Hangzhou, which is in close proximity to the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University, one of the most prestigious tertiary education institutions in China.

The Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre and the West Lake Scenic Area are both within a 20-minute drive from the property, together with direct access to MRT Lines 2 and 5, and a shopping mall offering lifestyle and entertainment options.

Shama Zijingang will feature 384 keys, a business centre, gym, and a multi-function Shama Den lounge area.

The property is scheduled to open during the second quarter of 2019.

Most recently, Onyx also entered a partnership for Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok with JR Kyushu, the company’s first Japanese institutional partner. All of these projects signed are slated for opening within 2018.
