Qatar Airways launches flights to Danang, Vietnam

Qatar Airways has launched direct flights between Doha and Danang, Vietnam.

Qatar Airways will operate the Danang service four-times per week with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.

On Mondays and Saturdays, flight QR 994 is scheduled to depart Doha at 07:15 and arrive in Danang at 18:05. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, flight QR 996 is timed to leave Doha at 20:10 and land in Danang 07:01 the following day.

The return flight, QR995 is scheduled to leave Danang on Tuesdays and Sundays at 00:50 and arrive in Doha at 05:20. On Wednesdays and Fridays, flight QR 997 is timed to leave Danang at 08:30 and land in Doha at 13:00.

Qatar Airways also operates six weekly freighter services to Hanoi, seven weekly freighter services to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and 28 weekly belly-hold flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) and now Danang.

Deputy General Director of Airport Corporation Vietnam and Acting Director for Danang International Airport Managing Director Le Xuan Tung said: “Danang International Airport is the third busiest airport in Vietnam and is an important transportation hub in the central region. Being only two kilometres from the city centre, the launch of this direct flight will further boost Danang’s position as the commercial and educational centre of Central Vietnam. It is a fantastic follow-up to Qatar Airways’ introduction of daily services to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in January of this year, and we appreciate Qatar Airways’ strong support for Vietnam.”
