Skal International Colombo Vice President Ahintha Amarasinghe, SriLankan Airlines CEO Richard Nuttall and Skal International Colombo President Dinushka Chandrasena

The 69th Annual General meeting of Skal International was held recently at the California Grill, Galadari Hotel Colombo.

Travel Talk Asia Managing Director Dinushka Chandrasena was re-elected President with World Link Travels Managing Director Ahintha Amarasinghe continuing as Vice President for the year 2023/2024.

The Guest speaker at the event was SriLankan Airlines CEO Richard Nuttall, the national carrier and a catalyst in reviving the tourism industry in Sri Lanka. He spoke on the state of the Aviation and tourism industry which was very informative and well received by the members and guests at the meeting.

Skal International is the world’s largest global network of tourism professionals promoting tourism, business, and friendship worldwide since 1934. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry with over 12,000 members in 99 countries.

Skal International Colombo past President Keethi Jayaweera was recently elected as President of Skal Asia and is the second Sri Lankan to be President of the Asian area since the inception of the club 69 years ago.
