Sri Lanka made a strong impression at this year’s International French Travel Market (IFTM) in Paris, showcasing the island’s rich tourism offerings alongside 26 prominent companies and SriLankan Airlines.

The Sri Lanka pavilion was officially inaugurated by Sri Lankan Ambassador to France Manisha Gunasekara, accompanied by Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) Chairman Chalaka Gajabahu and esteemed industry representatives.

The delegation highlighted Sri Lanka’s diverse tourism attractions, from its cultural heritage to natural beauty, positioning the destination as an attractive option for French travellers. The collaborative effort between the SLTPB and the private sector reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the French travel market.

With digital marketing, events participation, public relations, and consumer promotions, Sri Lanka continues to promote itself as a destination not to be missed.
