Sri Lanka woos tourists from Saudi Arabia

With the support of Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka Consul General in Jeddah Falah Mowlana Alhabshi officially inaugurated the ‘Tourism Promotional Window’ at the Consulate of Sri Lanka in Jeddah under the theme “Welcome to Sri Lanka, a paradisiacal experience on Earth” on 12 December 2022 in the presence of travel operators, journalists, and Saudi friends and well-wishers of Sri Lanka.

During his inaugural remarks, Consul General recalled the friendly relationship between the two countries and thanked the Saudi Government and the people, for their continued support towards Sri Lanka. Further, Consul General stated that the Consulate issues tourist visa in a matter of a few minutes and invited all Saudi nationals to visit and experience the natural beauty and hospitality of Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, some guests recalled their travels to Sri Lanka and extended their gratitude to the people of Sri Lanka for their warm hospitality.

The symbolic visa issuance took place during the launching ceremony.
