  • Key sales and customer centric frontline operations to continue in Colombo

The Board and Management of SriLankan Airlines have taken a decision to relocate all its corporate offices in the World Trade Centre to its main operational hub in Katunayake.

The management of SriLankan Airlines emphasised that it is business as usual for all its valued customers as none of the key sales and customer centric frontline operations would be relocated, contrary to recent media reports.  Accordingly, Sri Lanka Sales, FlySmiLes, the Global Contact Center and the Cargo Sales Offices will continue to operate from their current locations in Colombo i.e. Level 3 – WorldTrade Centre, Iceland Building – Colombo3 and De Vos Avenue – Colombo4 in order to provide convenient and direct customer access.   The national carrier said this initiative would result in a cost saving of approximately Rs. 75 million per annum and will make back office operations much more efficient. The shifting of the offices commenced on 28 June and will continue on a staggered basis with completion planned by mid-August.
