Antyra Solutions, a data-driven digital marketing agency catering to the travel and hospitality sector, launched Tales of Ceylon (www.talesofceylon.com); a composite destination marketing platform dedicated to showcasing the history and culture of Sri Lanka through engaging stories and animated features, with the aim to inspire and create an active conversation about Sri Lanka among a potential tourist audience.  

Tales of Ceylon is a new type of travel platform designed to entice a casual observer, taking a storytelling approach to share the country’s rich heritage and culture through well-researched stories, epic tales and animated features. This visibility and corresponding website traffic will seamlessly connect with end-to-end planning information on key destinations, flights, hotels and experiences with the intent of converting causal interest into booking intent. The platform also offers native advertising packages for curated brands to feature their content and connect directly with users of the website. “We wanted to create a self-sustaining platform that can cut through the noise online and create visibility at the inspiration stage of the travel buying cycle,” said Niranka T. Perera, Chairman/CEO of Antyra Solutions, which owns Tales of Ceylon. “We wanted a potential traveller to ‘feel’ for the destination and actively have a conversation about Sri Lanka for their next holiday. To do so, we chose to tell stories from our history and culture, to try and translate the same sentiment we feel as Sri Lankans when we visit the places, attractions and landmarks celebrated within the country,” he further added. 

Tales of Ceylon was launched on 8 October at Jetwing Colombo Seven in the presence of prominent travel and hospitality industry professionals and wll-wishers.  Antyra Solutions is an award-winning integrated agency that combines creativity, technology and performance-based digital marketing under one roof.
