Thai Airways reduces flights to mainland China

While some airlines have decided to cancel all flights to mainland China, Thai Airways is following the World Health Organisation’s guidelines and has only reduced the number of flights to and from China as demand falls.Thai Airways has made the following changes:

  • Flights between Bangkok and Beijing have been reduced from two flights per day to one flight per day from 8-29 February 2020;
  • On the Bangkok-Shanghai-Bangkok route, TG has reduced the regular two flights per day to one flight per day from 10-29 February 2020;
  • nBetween Bangkok and Guangzhou, Thai Airways has reduced the number of flights from two per day to one flight per day from 8-29 February 2020;
  • Thai Airway’s flights between Bangkok and Chengdu have been cut from seven flights per week to five flights per week from 6-27 February 2020;
  • On the Bangkok-Kunming-Bangkok route, Thai Airways had reduced the number of flights from seven per week to three flights per week from 6-29 February 2020; and
  • Thai Airways has cut the four flights per week between Bangkok and Xiamen to just two flights per week from 6-27 February 2020.
