Tourism Alliance expert webinar on 30 Nov. on travel demand for Sri Lanka

The Tourism Alliance is hosting an expert webinar focusing on understanding tourist demand for Sri Lanka’ with insights on traveller sentiments on 30 November. 

Teaming up with Canadian-based international destination development strategy firm Twenty31 Consulting, the webinar aims to deliver data which tracks travel consumer perceptions of Sri Lanka and how the destination is perceived in key source markets relative to the competition. 

Twenty31 Partner Oliver Marin will touch on Sri Lanka’s brand health scores coupled with the familiarity, impression, interest to travel, and likelihood to recommend the destination.

Antyra Solutions CEO Niranka Perera will support the information shared with digital search data presenting the tourism industry with an opportunity to better understand the destinations position in terms of global awareness. 

“Familiarity with a destination and consumer confidence are the two most important variables driving travel decisions. With the peak winter season almost upon us, it is critical to hear from global and local experts on how the tourism industry is expected to perform over the next few months,” said Sri Lanka Tourism Alliance Chair Malik Fernando. 

Antyra Solutions, an award-winning integrated digital marketing agency with a strong tourism marketing portfolio together with the Tourism Alliance, released the latest data centric report highlighting traveller demand for Sri Lanka. Analysing 5,062 keywords relating to the destination; key areas in the report covers critical questions such as which markets are searching for Sri Lanka, top Sri Lankan hotels by online demand, pick up comparison compared to last year, safety related search trends and which experiences are in demand.
