Udawalawe Safari Village Hotel, celebrating its 28th anniversary, entices nature and wildlife enthusiasts to an enchanting holiday.
Situated five kilometres away from the Udawalawe National Park, the hotel’s four-acre land has been naturally transformed into an eco-friendly village.
It was established in 1992 by environmentalist Jayantha Kumara who initially designed this hotel with just seven rooms. It has since been expanded to a 19-room exotic resort with modern amenities such as a swimming pool etc.
The hotel co-ordinates a safari jeep service for the benefit and convenience of guests. For those who wish to go camping, the hotel provide tents as well.
