The W15 Collection has announced its latest accolades in recognition of its websites in the annual BestWeb.lk competition organised by The LK Domain Registry.

Under the W15 Collection, W15 Hanthana managed to clinch the Overall Silver Award for the Best Website and win Gold under the Travel and Tourism category.

The W15 Collection website (www.w15.lk), W15 Weligama, W15 Ahangama and W15 Colombo have all been recognised as Merit winners in the Travel and Tourism category.

The LK Domain Registry has been conducting the BestWeb.lk competition annually since 2009 and is a web-based competition providing an exclusive opportunity to promote and popularise web presence in Sri Lanka. The award ceremony which took place recently saw the participation of those deemed the best lk domain websites and was given recognition under a variety of categories. 

The competition itself saw over 500 applicants, vying to take the top spots not just in their relevant category but also in the overall design awards. An expert panel of judges was appointed, composed of web experts and industry professionals who judged on creativity, quality of graphic design, artistry, technological expertise and the quality of the content made available to the user.          

“Being recognised for our work and our continuous journey to become better is a stepping stone in becoming the ultimate hospitality brand in Sri Lanka,” W15 Managing Director Isabel Jamaldeen said.

She went on to further explain the ethos W15 Collection, stating that properties under the brand would always provide a world-class experience that draws inspiration from each property’s destination. Every single location and space is a truly unique encounter, and as such, the relevant websites act as a window for potential guests to explore and obtain vital information for their next getaway.

The W15 Collection, which was a rebranding done to bring all W15 properties under one umbrella, and the relevant websites were launched throughout the month of June with the aim of creating a more user-friendly and convenient experience for visitors while staying true to the spirit of W15 alongside the design and the calibre of service that the properties provide.
