Yala jeep drivers protest over quarantine

Nearly 30 jeep drivers who handled the visiting Ukrainian tourists have protested against authorities asking them to quarantine thereafter for 14 days.

They alleged that such a requirement was not conveyed prior to undertaking the task of driving the tourists around Yala National Park. It was claimed that had they been told in advance they would not have volunteered to handle these tourists.
