The Acem Meditation Group consisting of 48 tourists from Scandinavia arrived in Sri Lanka on a meditation tour. They were welcomed by Managing Director Prasad Peramuna and Panchalee Peramuna at the Bandaranaike International Airport, on behalf of their ground handling agent, Peramuna Tours and Holidays.

They will attend a meditation retreat at Tallala Retreat Centre, Gandara for one week. After that, they will visit popular destinations including Udawalawe, Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains, Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Anuradhapura, Galle, Negombo and Colombo.

The founder of Acem Meditation Dr. Are Holen will lead the meditation retreat with Torbjorn Hobbel, Chairman of Acem India.

Dr. Are Holen is an internationally recognised disaster expert and an expert on traumatic stress. He is also a recognised survivor helper, researcher and lecturer in the field of traumatic stress. He is a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist with psychotherapeutic orientation. I. Jayaraj, the Southeast Asian Coordinator made all the tour arrangements for the group in coordination with Torjorn Hobbel.

Acem Meditation is a simple mindful technique for relaxation, health and personal growth based on modern psychology and scientific research. In the long run, the inner freedom of Acem Meditation may initiate fascinating processes of self-understanding and personal growth.

The anti-stress effects of Acem Meditation are confirmed by scientific research. Blood pressure and heart rates are reduced, the immune system is strengthened, performance under pressure is enhanced, and brain waves show deep relaxation.
