The Sharjah-based carrier currently offers four flights a week to the Kenyan city. The daily flights from Nairobi were aimed at making it easier and more convenient for passengers to visit this vibrant City, said a statement from Air Arabia.
The flights will depart Sharjah daily at 9.30am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flights will leave Sharjah at 6pm. On return, the flights depart Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 2.05pm and 11.25pm respectively, it added.

“We are extremely pleased to announce the expansion of our service between Sharjah and Nairobi which will further enhance the air travel options for the residents of both countries” said AK Nizar, head of commercial department, Air Arabia.
“We look forward to see the positive contribution the increase of flights will have on the over all tourism of the vibrant city of Nairobi,’ he added. Nizar said that the region has also shown a lot of potential especially for traders and Nairobi has become a business hub for the East African region noting that Nairobi has proven to be a very lucrative market for trade in the Middle East.
Air Arabia started operations in Kenya in October 2008 with three flights a week to UAE. Since then, the airline has seen increasing demand for the appealing value for money product it offers, Nizar said.
