Despite a slow takeoff, SriLankan Air taxi service is ready to aggressively market itself in both the local and international market as a network carrier with new takeoff points already in plan.The taxi service which was reinitiated in December 2010 according to a request by the government will promote itself as a seamless operation selling the destination as a network carrier. With officials expecting a steady rise in business under high industry expectations of tourist arrivals, the months ahead will strengthen the service within the country with more focus on domestic tourism.
