Anantara Vacation Club, a shared ownership concept launched in 2010 by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, has partnered with Hilton Grand Vacations Club, to provide reciprocal club membership privileges within both brands.
Through this new affiliation, Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners receive reservation privileges at Hilton Grand Vacations Club resorts in some of the world’s most celebrated destinations including Orlando, Las Vegas, New York and Hawaii.
The affiliation also provides upper tier Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners with preferred membership status in Hilton HHonors, the guest-loyalty program for Hilton Worldwide’s ten distinct hotel brands.
As HHonors members, Anantara Vacation Club Points Owners may redeem HHonors points for stays at more than 3,750 Hilton Worldwide hotels and timeshare resorts worldwide, and enjoy additional membership privileges including airline miles exchange, car rentals, Experience Rewards, merchandise and vacation packages, make charitable contributions, and more.
The strategic affiliation also enables Members of Hilton Grand Vacations Club with Elite status residing in Japan to receive reservation privileges at select properties in the Anantara Vacation Club resort portfolio – including properties on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand and in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Harold Derrah, CEO of Anantara Vacation Club, said, “This strategic affiliation with Hilton Grand Vacations is the latest extension of Anantara Vacation Club’s unique proposition and really does offer our Club Points Owners a world of options for points redemption. It is also a significant step in the continued growth and success of Anantara Vacation Club.”
This new affiliation with Hilton Grand Vacations continues to expand upon the multiple vacation options already available to Club Points Owners; namely the use of existing Club Resorts, the opportunity to stay at Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas worldwide under the flexible ‘Club Escapes’ programme, and access to over 4,000 hotels around the world through an affiliation with Resort Condominiums International (RCI).
Kim Robert Kreiger, Senior Vice President Club & Resorts for Hilton Grand Vacations, said, “We are pleased to enhance our collection of Club advantages through this innovative affiliation with Anantara Vacation Club. The spectacular Anantara Vacation Club resorts in Thailand and New Zealand offer exotic vacation destinations for our discerning Club Members in Japan, and support our commitment to strengthen the value of our renowned Club program.”
