Anuradha Kumarasinghe brings pride to Galadari

Hailing from the town of Kurunegala, Anuradha Kumarasinghe from the Galadari Hotel brought honour and pride to the hotel. Securing the 1st Runner Up position for the category Flaring at the Colombo Region selection for the National Bartenders Seminar and Cocktail Competition 2016, held at the Ramada Colombo, young Anuradha did Galadari Hotel proud.

Commenting on his success Galadari Restaurants Training Manager Clive De Costa said, “I am proud of his achievement especially because he is a newcomer who is determined to make the most in life. He has proved that nothing in life is impossible if you have the will to succeed. I wish him all the very best.”

Anuradha who has been employed at the Galadari Hotel for the past three years as a Barman hopes to reach the highest level in Food and Beverage in the future. He presented the ‘Yellow Ripple’ cocktail which is a blend of white rum, banana liqueur, fresh passion fruit, lime cordial and a touch of basil leaves topped off with ‘Sprite’.

Young Anuradha hopes to win the finals of the competition and is working hard towards achieving his career goals.
