Award of excellence for hotels in Colombo

An awarding ceremony for best hotels, bakeries and restaurants in Colombo city was held on 12 May 2014 at Kingsbury hotel, Colombo under the patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

This ceremony had been organised by the Public Health Department of the Colombo Municipal Council. Among the hotels, restaurants and bakeries in Colombo city, 90 food establishments that were listed as excellent were awarded here. Awarding ceremonies for best hotels in Colombo city has been held since 2007. Awards for year 2013 took place on this occasion. The ceremony was held for the seventh time. Mayor A.J.M. Muzammil, Deputy Mayor Titus Perera and many others participated.
