Baywatch Eco Resort Kalpitiya opts for Zhara HS

Zhara HS, A well known name in the local hotel software industry today will be establishing footprint in the upper west coast of Sri Lanka in the near future with its recent alliance with Baywatch Eco Resort Village Kalpitiya; a unique property built on the concept of ethical eco tourism on the magnificent upper western beaches of the island.

The resort offers a range of activities to its guests all based on the eco system around. All activities are specially arranged in a manner in which they will not disturb the surrounding environment and also provide a great experience for the guest. These activities include whale and watching, exploring beautiful mangroves, bird watching and kite surfing. The resort offers a beyond different experience with its cosy log cabins and offers the guest the perfect camping experience in addition to its usual accommodation units where tents are provided for the camping enthusiast to truly holiday amidst nature.

said Baywatch Eco Resort Village Chairman Iqbal Hassen during the sign up meeting at JKCS premises. He added, “Our offering to the tourism sector is purely based on promoting the magnificence of the island with minimal disturbance to the eco-system and we are now able to automate our processes in the same manner with Zhara HS. We are looking forward to working with JKCS on this venture and ensuring a long term mutually beneficial business relationship for both parties.”

Zhara was initially built keeping in mind the rising implications of technological development on the environment along with its primary focus of introducing a cost effective and comprehensive solution for the management needs of the hotel industry. With the introduction of cloud based technologies to Sri Lanka, JKCS took the opportunity of introducing Zhara HS to the hotel industry which is the first purely Sri Lankan green hotel management software.

The product which has succeeded in acquiring over 2000 rooms within well established clients in the local market to date is a fully fledged hotel solution for any type of hotel property complete with an internet booking engine, a central reservation system and a property management system.

Project work is now underway at JKCS where a dedicated team of experts will be implementing the Zhara Hospitality Suite at Baywatch Eco Resort soon.
