Best Western is expanding its presence in Vietnam, with the signing of a new hotel in a new destination.
The Best Western Premier Indochine Palace, located in the centre of the historic city of Hue and just 20 minutes from the international airport, is due to open in Q4 2011.
The 222 guestrooms at Best Western Premier Indochine Palace boast the subdued elegance of an Indochine noble house. The Palace Floors boast lounges administered by butlers and the rooms themselves feature an extended living room perfect for entertaining.
The Indochine Club Suites offer added luxury and the Celadon floors are essentially an hotel-within-a-hotel, with their own check-in and luxury lounge.
Facilities include a swimming pool, sundeck with cabana day rooms, the restaurants La Brasserie and Le Petit Café, a lobby lounge, spa and gymnasium, executive lounge and 15 function rooms including Le Grand Salon with a capacity of 400 people banquet style.
The hotel is set within lush gardens and its grass lawns offer the opportunity for archery, croquet, badminton and Tai-chi. Within a comfortable walk of the hotel is a department store. Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East, Glenn de Souza, said, “As a tourist destination, Hue ranks highly on Vietnam’s ‘must-see’ list. Building on this already substantial appeal is the city’s growing national importance as a gateway linking provinces and cities in the north and south, as well as those in the East West Economic Corridor. Add to this equation both air and sea access, and the result is a strategic locale Best Western will soon proudly include among its Asian destinations.”
Located in central Vietnam on the banks of the Perfume River, the ancient royal city of Hue abounds in history and culture, among its attractions being two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, numerous historical monuments and French-style buildings.
