Blood donation drive by trade and tourism industry on Friday

The Travel Agent Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) will be organising its second consecutive blood donation campaign for this year joining with The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and all the travel and tourism related associations namely, the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL), the IATA Agents Association of Sri Lanka (IATA – AASL), the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA Sri Lanka Chapter) and SriLankan Airlines to make this event as a travel industry joint program.

As the apex body for outbound tourism, TAASL as previously is proposing to bring together the travel and tourism industry to the forefront with this initiative by creating a platform to showcase their services as well as build links with the tourism industry.

With this objective in mind, TAASL is organising a one-day blood donation campaign scheduled to be held this year too at The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), on Friday 21 July from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ground Floor West Wing, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, No. 50, Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 02.
