British International Doctors Association holds conference in Colombo

The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau announced that yet another reputed medical conference is taking place in Colombo this week.
According to SLCB CEO Vipula Wanigasekera, the British International Doctors Association (BIDA) 10th International Conference is taking place in Sri Lanka from 2 November at the Taj Samudra Hotel Colombo, followed by post congress tour around the island till 9 November.
BIDA is an established medical association in the UK which has served the interests of international medical graduates for the past 36 years. This is the first time BIDA has chosen Sri Lanka as the venue for the Congress. Over 150 reputed medical practitioners and consultants are attending the conference.
“We are glad to have been associated with the organisers from the beginning and this once again proves that Sri Lanka is the latest sought-after venue for international conferences,” said Wanigasekera.
The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau is part of the Ministry of Economic Development.
