Cantaloupe Hotels wins 2016 Communicator Award

Cantaloupe Hotels, Sri Lanka’s contemporary luxury boutique hotel chain announced that it was presented with an award under the hotel and lodging websites category at the 22nd communicator awards. 

The Communicator Awards is the US leading international awards program recognising big ideas in marketing and communications. The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. This year introduced expanded online video and social categories, making this year’s awards bigger and better than ever. 

“These awards are testament to the tireless work of our team that we’ve been able to develop marketing and communications strategies that are innovatively designed, with a superior user experience and better technology integration,” said Cantaloupe and Co-Director Dmitri Jayasuriya.

Commenting on the websites that cater to both the plush up-scale resorts, he said that the websites have been developed with the traveller in mind and aimed at fostering stronger connections that will make for lasting memories. 

The Communicator Awards honours work that transcends innovation and craft – work that made a lasting impact, providing an equal chance of winning to all entrants regardless of company or agency size and project budget. The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
