Cathay celebrates non-stop service with special fares to Hong Kong and beyond

With the launch of daily non-stop services to Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific Airways has introduced special fares to Hong Kong, Beijing, New York, Melbourne and Tokyo among other destinations. Travellers can purchase tickets on this offer between 1-30 September, and travel between 25 October and 31 January 2016. 

To promote the special fares to these destinations and to introduce the non-stop flights from Colombo to Hong Kong the Sales and Marketing team of Cathay Pacific Airways visited 25 travel agents in Colombo. 

Commenting on this special offer, Cathay Pacific Sales & Marketing Manager Sri Lanka & Maldives Vishnu Rajendran said, “With special fares on offer and daily direct flights to Hong Kong with seamless onward connections, travellers can now plan their business trips or year-end vacations in advance. Passengers can also enjoy the state of the art in-flight entertainment, friendly cabin crew and award winning flat-bed business class cabin all aboard the A330-300 aircraft.”

Effective 25 October, the airline will replace its thrice-weekly one-stop service via Bangkok with direct flights to its hub at Hong Kong International Airport. Cathay Pacific is currently the only airline to offer direct non-stop connections between Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, now on a daily basis.
