The prestigious MICE Magazine CEI – Asia has published a story stating that Sri Lanka is the most emerging sought after destination for MICE activities. According to CEI Asia Associate Editor Gerardine Donough-Tan, it has been on the ‘Most read articles’ list since it went online last week. From the report on the 2015 CEI readers’ survey, Sri Lanka clinched second spot taking readers in SE/E Asia by surprise. CEI Asia is circulated among thousands in India, China, HK and Singapore.
“We would like publicity elsewhere in our markets and this story is worth millions of dollars for us as CEI Asia is a credible source for information by MICE organisers,” says Sri Lanka Convention Bureau CEO Vipula Wanigasekera.
