The first branch of the new spa brand Cense by SPA Cenvaree will open at the newly opened Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Khon Kaen during August. Cense is designed as a fast-service spa providing core treatments and beauty services at affordable rates for guests who do not have the leisure time to spend in a full-service spa but who still need to look and feel their best by taking a little time out from their busy schedules.

The new brand, which will focus on SPA Cenvaree’s high standards of personal service, will be featured in selected properties of Centara Hotels & Resorts.

“Our vision for Cense is to deliver effective spa services at affordable costs, while satisfying the discerning requirements of today’s business and leisure travellers,” says Ms Elaine Chua, Centara’s group director of spa operations.

“This is part of our strategy to create a dynamic spa model in which services adhere to five-star quality but at lower prices, in order to cater to the evolving trends which we see as diversifying into day spas and into no-frills services.

“SPA Cenvaree remains our premium brand, while Cense is being launched as our value brand.

“We see Cense as being ideal for specific properties and markets, including our newly opened Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Khon Kaen and our Centra value brand hotels and resorts.”

Centara Hotels & Resorts is Thailand’s leading operator of hotels, with 37 deluxe and first-class properties covering all the major tourist destinations in the Kingdom.  A further 17 resorts in the Maldives, Philippines, Vietnam, Bali Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Mauritius Indian Ocean, brings the present total to 54 properties.
