Centara to open new 150-room Centra Central Station Bangkok

The new Centra Central Station Bangkok, located adjacent to the Hua Lamphong mainline railway terminus and MRT Metro station, is scheduled to open in Q3 2013.
The station itself opened in 1916, and was designed in a style that combines Italian Neo-Renaissance elements with an industrial theme. It still serves the entire railway network throughout Thailand.
The Centra Central Station Bangkok will feature 150 rooms and suites, each of which will offer individually controlled air-conditioning, flat screen TV with international TV channels, tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, IDD telephone line and wireless internet access.
Centra Superior rooms are designed in a minimalist décor with 28 square metres of living space that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children sharing 2 double beds. The hotel also features a fitness centre with sauna and steam rooms and a spa. The hotel will soft open next month.
