Ceylon City Hotel wins World Luxury Hotel Awards 2016

Ceylon City Hotel was announced as the latest winner of the 2016 World Luxury Hotel Award as the best ‘Luxury Family Hotel’ in Sri Lanka. The awards gala ceremony held in Qatar had paid recognition to hoteliers’ achievement over the past year and provided them a splendid opportunity to celebrate within industry peers.

World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of recognition of accomplishment by a hotel in the luxury hospitality industry, offering recognition to hotels for earning the respect of guests and industry players alike, by awarding hotels, as voted for by the public, in over 60 categories. The World Luxury Hotel Awards is a recognised global organisation providing luxury hotels with recognition for their world class facilities and service excellence provided to guests. Winners were selected out of 2,000 nominees.

Ceylon City situated at Upatissa Road, Bambalapitiya is one of the latest hotels to join the Sri Lankan hospitality industry. Ceylon City Hotel was also selected as ‘Best Budget City Hotel – Sri Lanka’ by Hotel of the Year Awards 2015 and was also named as one of the ‘Top 100 Hotel’s Worldwide 2015’ by Hotel of the Year awards.
