Chaaya Blu Trincomalee opened its doors to a new dimension of tourism on the 15 May 2010 by engraving its foot on the Eastern Coast. The resort designed to complement the unique shades of blue, pristine white beaches and a touch of orange representing the rising sun.

Conceptualised by master architect Channa Daswatte, Chaaya Blu Trincomalee was revamped as a stylish retro-chic product.

The resort radiates a vibe of the Caribbean with its open white lounges decorated with mosaic walls, wooden decks and a timbre board walk that leads into the sea. A choice of accommodation with Superior Rooms and Beach Chalets furnished with polished cement beds and denim interiors with unparallel views of the ocean. A resort reminiscent of the retro years, is a unique, off the wall concept for a beach resort in Sri Lanka.

To celebrate turning a bubbly baby one, Chaaya Blu Trincomalee will treat all its guests during the month of May. ‘The Crab’, famed for its specialty seafood preparations will offer its diners a 25% discount. Daily happy hour at the ‘Rum Hold’, one for one on the Chaaya Blu signature cocktail, 15% off on the wine of the day, high tea, daily happy hour ice cream for kids and free goody bag upon check are some of the treats offered.

The resort experience extends beyond its boundaries, explore Pigeon Island and spot the mammals of the ocean with a special 10% off on dolphin watching and snorkelling. Discover Trincomalee with its mysterious history and legends of the past at Swami Rock and Lover’s Leap.
